Experimental Photography
These photographs were taken in a studio with a projector to superimpose a series of colorful patterns onto the actors/models. It created a surreal and expressive world for emotional manifestation of the text. There was no other light source than the projector.
These photos were inspired by the German play HAMLETMACHINE. The play was written by Heiner Müller, a German dramatist in 1977. Hamletmachine explores themes of political unrest, neurotic obsessions, suicide and female emancipation in an unconvetional plot structure.
A special thank you to my classmates (actors) Deirdre,Celia & Spencer.
